Die Tour startet 2024 in Florenz und damit dreimal hintereinander im Ausland.
The Tour de France will start in Italy for the first time in 2024. As the organiser ASO announced, the Grand Depart will take place in Florence on 29 June 2024. Two further stages will then take place on Italian soil.

Tour de France: Third foreign start in a row

This means that the tour will start three times in a row abroad: this year the starting signal was given in Copenhagen, and in 2023 it will be Bilbao's turn.

In addition to Florence as the starting point the final of the Tour 2024 a novelty. For the first time in the 121-year history of the race, the final stage will not end in Paris, but in Nice on 21 July. The reason for this is the fact that the Olympic Games begin in the French capital on 26 July.

The first stage 2024 leads over 205 kilometres from Florence to Rimini, the second day covers 200 kilometres from Cesenatico to Bologna, before the third stage ends in Turin after 225 kilometres after the start in Piacenza.
