The documentary series offers a look behind the scenes of professional cycling. Over the course of four one-hour episodes, the camera team follows Mads Pedersen both at races and in his private life. In addition to the Danish professional cyclist, his team-mates from Lidl - Trek and his family also have their say. This gives viewers an insight into the world and everyday life of a world-class cyclist.
The first episode of "Mads Pedersen - Fear Nothing" will be broadcast on 15 March 2024 at 17:15 on Eurosport 2 and discovery+. The other episodes will follow on 2 April at 17:00 and on 9 and 10 April at 17:45 on Eurosport 1 and discovery+. For subscribers to the paid streaming service, the episodes will also be available on demand after the respective TV broadcasts.
The central theme of the series is Pedersen's hunt for victory in one of cycling's monuments. These prestigious one-day races include Milan-San Remowhich Tour of Flanders, Paris-Roubaix, Liège-Bastogne-Liège and the Tour of Lombardy. A triumph in one of these classics is still on Pedersen's wish list. The cobblestone specialist's best result in a Monument to date was second place in the Tour of Flanders in 2018, and he finished third on the podium again in 2023, as well as third in Paris-Roubaix in 2024.
