Standert has given the circular saw an update: the new aluminium road bike from the Berlin-based company comes with integrated cable routing and more tyre clearance, among other features. With its sporty riding position, the new model is aimed at ambitious riders. Two equipment variants are available from 3549 euros.

After the Gravel works for the gravel track the Kreissäge is the second new product from the German manufacturer within a few weeks. According to the Berlin-based company, the new road bike is intended to complement its race-orientated sister model, the Kreissäge RS. However, the Kreissäge also puts the rider in an emphatically stretched riding position, as is typical for classic competition bikes. For frame size 56, Standert quotes an STR quotient of 1.43.

As is typical for the Standert brand, the frame is based on aluminium. Like the majority of the industry, the hip brand from the capital uses a 6061 alloy. A size 54 frame, including seat clamp and UDH derailleur hanger, should weigh a little less than 1600 grams. According to the manufacturer, the carbon fork weighs 360 grams. Depending on the equipment variant, Standert quotes complete bike weights of 8.2 or 8.8 kilograms.
