The acceptance of road bikes with electronic shifting is increasing, but models with mechanical groupsets still have their fans. The Storck Fascenario.3 Comp Ultegra in the TOUR test.

Storck Fascenario.3 Comp Ultegra - Sporty lightweight

Markus Storck recently proved that he can build fast bikes with the Aerfast.4, among others. You can feel that the Fascenario.3 Comp is also fast in every riding situation. The centrepiece of the carbon speedster plays a major part in this: the wheelset. Storck sent the Fascenario.3 into the race with the new Zeitjäger Platinum wheels, which impressed with their low weight and good aerodynamics in the latest test of wheels with carbon spokes.

Aggressive driving behaviour

The 2432 grams are a statement for the wheelset, which is normally found in designated competition racers - and thus emphasises the racing orientation of the Fascenario.3. In addition to the exclusive carbon wheels, the seating position is also very sporty, which is further emphasised by the aero cockpit. According to the manufacturer, the bike operates under the generic term "Allround". In combination with the short wheelbase, the low overall weight and the narrow tyres, this results in extremely agile, almost aggressive handling.

The Storck therefore offers the perfect basis for shooting and climbing, but we would only recommend it for epic Granfondos to highly trained and agile athletes due to the very sporty riding position. The Fascenario.3 Comp, whose endurance genes can be seen in the high level of suspension comfort on the saddle, starts at € 3299 with Shimano's Ultegra and simple aluminium wheels from DT Swiss.
