Close to the top model, but much more affordable - this is the approach taken by Trek with the new Madone SL 6 Disc, which is now available for € 4,499. The carbon quality and the conventional handlebar/stem combination instead of the integrated cockpit are the main differences compared to the top-of-the-range Madone SLR.
The frame shape, on the other hand, is identical to the Madone SLR. According to the manufacturer, this should ensure good aerodynamics and good suspension comfort. Just like the top model, the frame of the Madone SL 6 also features IsoSpeed technology, which allows the suspension to be individually adjusted: Using a slider, the rider can adjust the vertical compliance of the frame to suit their preferences.
The Madone SL6 Disc is equipped with a mechanical Ultegra groupset from Shimano, hydraulic disc brakes and Aeolus Comp5 carbon wheels from Bontrager and is available now for €4,499.
