The indoor cycling app Rouvy is now working with the Giro d'Italia and RCS Sports. As an official training partner, the app digitises the company offers stages of the Giro d'Italia, Strade Bianche and other RCS races. The app allows users to retrace the original routes of the men's and women's races at home. The routes of amateur races are also digitised.

Rouvy has announced a co-operation with RCS Sports. The Indoor cycling platform becomes the official training partner of the Giro d'Italia, Strade Bianche and other races organised by the Italian event organiser. The app allows cyclists to ride real routes from all over the world on their home trainer.

New Giro stages on Rouvy

The collaboration brings key stages and sections of the Giro courses for men and women into the app. Rouvy has already made the Strade Bianche route available in the application. Many well-known climbs of the Giro are also already available. Many additional routes will be added as a result of the co-operation. For amateur athletes, the Czech company is converting the routes of the Gran Fondo Strade Bianche and the Gran Fondo Il Lombardia into digital twins. Anyone can train the routes, explore them in advance or ride them again afterwards. According to the press release, professionals also make targeted use of the roller training. Wout van Aert from Team Visma|Lease a Bike rides outdoors a lot, but also uses indoor sessions. According to the press release, the app enables him to visualise routes such as Strade Bianche.

Real images of the race track

Rouvy is working on plans to record new tracks from the RCS racing portfolio. The Recordings will be created on race day itself to fully capture the atmosphere of the fans and the race environment. Among the new routes planned are Strade Bianche, Milano-San Remo, Giro d'Italia and Milano-Torino. Paolo Bellino, CEO and General Manager of RCS Sports & Events, emphasises that the Giro d'Italia and events such as Strade Bianche are defined by breathtaking landscapes and legendary routes. The partnership with Rouvy brings these experiences directly to fans worldwide and allows them to immerse themselves in the races.

Takeover of Bkool

Rouvy is taking over the partnership from the former indoor cycling app Bkool, which Rouvy acquired in 2025. The Giro d'Italia partnership was heavily utilised by the former Bkool community. The company therefore wanted to revitalise this collaboration. New routes from the RCS Sports collection will be added throughout the season. Existing Strade Bianche routes from last year are already available to users.

Training content at Rouvy

Rouvy offers realistic graphics and an enormous variety of routes. Collections of routes offer special highlights, such as the favourite routes of teams like Lidl-Trek or Visma | Lease a Bike. Workouts are also available in large numbers and can be filtered according to criteria such as training duration.
