From May to September, the demonstrations will roll across Germany. Itzehoe and Düsseldorf have already kicked things off, and now it's back to the drawing board. Berlin is celebrating a milestone anniversary this year: the capital's 50th rally. The final event will take place in Bremen at the beginning of September.
ADFC national chairman Frank Masurat summarises the issue as follows: "We want to cycle and we want to cycle safely. This requires continuous, protected cycle paths, safe intersections and a clear redistribution of road space in favour of climate-friendly mobility."
The World Bicycle Day on 3 June, which accompanies the rally season, provides an additional tailwind. For filming around the day of action, the ADFC recommends the rally on 31 May in Hanover, followed by a bicycle festival.
