The RennFietsen Tour Münsterland will take place for the 18th time from 6 to 9 May 2027. Up to 50 participants will cycle four daily stages ranging from 90 to 170 kilometres and raise funds through sponsors for every kilometre cycled. All proceeds will go to charities supporting children and young people in need.

The RennFietsen Tour charity cycle ride, supported by Münsterland e.V., is taking place for the 18th time and combines a sporting challenge with social commitment. The cycling teams AGAPEDIA Münsterland and Roter Keil Senden are organising the event, in which participants secure sponsors who donate an agreed amount for every kilometre cycled.

Routes and itinerary

The RennFietsen Tour starts on Thursday 6 May at Münster/Osnabrück Airport in Greven. Over the course of four days, participants can choose between two route options: a longer route totalling 600 kilometres and a shorter one of 400 kilometres. The individual daily stages range from 90 to 170 kilometres. The participation package includes three nights’ accommodation in a multi-purpose hostel in Albersloh, with breakfast, packed lunches and dinner. The finale takes place on Sunday at the historic town hall on the Prinzipalmarkt in Münster.

RennFietsen Tour fundraising target

One hundred per cent of the total proceeds go to the AGAPEDIA Foundation and the roterkeil.net network. Both organisations are committed to helping children in need and young people requiring support. To ensure that the donations reach the projects in full, volunteers, sponsors and supporters contribute to the tour through financial and in-kind donations, as well as their personal commitment. Tour leader Joachim Wechner emphasises the combination of sporting challenge, camaraderie and social commitment that has motivated many cyclists to take part for years.
