The 2027 LeezenCup at the Münsterland Giro is seeing record demand: half of the available starting places have already been snapped up within 48 hours. The event on 3 October 2027 will once again offer three distances of 65, 95 and 125 kilometres. By way of comparison, the 2026 edition was only fully booked in June. The current demand suggests that the starting places for 2027 will sell out much earlier.

The number of entries for the amateur races at the Münsterland Giro has taken everyone involved by surprise. For the LeezenCup, 50 per cent of the places had already been taken just two days after registration opened. The event will take place on 3 October 2027 and will run from the Prinzipalmarkt in Münster through the Münsterland region to the finish line in front of the castle.

Three distances at the LeezenCup

Participants can choose between three routes: 65, 95 and 125 kilometres. Every year, the Sparkassen Münsterland Giro follows new routes through the region. The LeezenCup 2027 will also follow a new route. The organiser will announce the exact routes in the spring.
