From 8-28 February 2021, the Ötztaler Cycle Marathon offered sweat-inducing rides on the Rouvy training platform. The legendary Ötztal climbs can still be conquered virtually on the roller trainer.

For three weeks, from 8 to 28 February 2021, the Ötztal Cycling Marathon Rouvy Challenge was all about tackling the mountain passages of the Ötztal Cycle Marathons to master. The finishers were then able to enjoy the virtual Ötztal Cycle Marathon Batch. It may feel different virtually on the roller trainer, but much remains the same: Kühtai, Brenner, Jaufenpass, Timmelsjoch and almost 5500 metres of altitude make for burning thighs.

On 6 March at 4 p.m., every Rouvy member then take part in the Ötztal Cycle Marathon mountain race. One of the longest Ötztal passes, the Timmelsjoch, was ridden. The community had previously decided in an online survey that this was the one of the four passes.
