Three road routes to the Stelvio Pass

Almost 1,200 riders will take to the roads on Sunday, 7 June. The long route leads over 130 kilometres from Bormio to Rogorbello, over the Mortirolo back to Bormio and finally to the Stelvio Pass. The route has an altitude difference of 4,270 metres. The medium variant does without the Mortirolo and measures 108 kilometres with 3,050 metres in altitude. The short route starts in Bormio and leads to Sondalo and the Stelvio Pass. It covers 64 kilometres and 2,280 metres in altitude. Wearing the official Santini jersey is compulsory for the road event. Participants receive the jersey together with their race number in the race pack.

Stelvio Santini with a new village

The Bormio Sports Centre serves as the new headquarters for the event. The centre was renovated for the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympics. Riders pick up their race numbers and race packs in the Village and Expo Area. Sponsor stands, technical areas for partners and catering stations are also located there.

The Village opens on Friday, 5 June, from 15:00 to 19:00. On Saturday, the opening hours are from 8:00 to 19:00. The award ceremony for the gravel event will take place at 17:00. The official briefing for the road event will follow at 17:30. The award ceremony for the road event is scheduled for Sunday at 16:00.

Ten climbs on the Stelvio Epic Rides

If you don't have a starting place for La Stelvio Santini, you can still have fun on the roads around Bormio without an event. The Stelvio Epic Rides challenge participants with ten climbs over the entire season. The three well-known climbs Stelvio, Gavia and Mortirolo form the core. At each summit there is a totem pole for the photo as proof. Those who complete at least nine climbs will receive the new Finisher Trophy, a handmade sculpture by a local artist. Registration takes place online with three packages: Bronze for €35, Silver for €80 and Gold for €120. Each package contains a kit from Santini Cycling Wear in three designs.
