The 37th edition of the Granfondo La Fausto Coppi Generali on 28 June 2026 in Cuneo will have a new jersey in white and red. The colours pay tribute to Denmark as the host country and the city of Cuneo. French manufacturer Ekoï is producing the jersey for the second time - it is included in the entry fee. More than 60,000 jerseys have been produced since the first edition in 1987. Fabio Aru will be at the start as Ekoï's brand ambassador.

The international Granfondo in Cuneo will take place on the weekend of 28 June 2026. All three routes start and finish in Cuneo, Piazza Galimberti. There will be two timed races and one non-competitive route. The organisers have now unveiled the jersey for the 37th edition in white and red. The choice of colours combines Italy and Denmark, which has been invited as the guest country. Davide Lauro and Emma Mana, President and Vice President of ASD Fausto Coppi on the Road, explain the decision in favour of white as a return to the roots of the event. The Granfondo was one of the first international events to introduce an official race jersey. For 36 years, participants have worn standardised jerseys at the start and on the climbs. It is included in the entry fee - currently you pay 75 euros for a starting place including cycling jersey.

Jersey exhibition at GF La Fausto Coppi

Since the first edition in 1987, the organisers have produced more than 60,000 jerseys. Every year, the organisers receive photos of participants wearing the jersey on all five continents. The jerseys show the flags of the countries represented. Since 1987, more than 75 different national flags have found their place on the jerseys. An exhibition in Piazza Galimberti will show the history of the event. The exhibition documents the fashion, styles, colours and trends of the individual editions.

Ekoï as a supplier

French manufacturer Ekoï is producing the jersey for the second time in a row. Pietro Cicoria, Director of Operations at Ekoï, emphasises the shared passion for cycling. Fabio Aru will be at the start as Ekoï's brand ambassador in 2026. The Italian won the Vuelta, wore the pink jersey at the Giro d'Italia and the yellow jersey at the Tour de France.
