According to the manufacturer, the Keo Grip Cleats have been developed for maximum efficiency, whereby each watt directly into propulsion. The cleats feature durable materials for an extended service life and an optimised contact surface, which should ensure a stable foot position. The redesigned front and rear grip zones, which have been widened by a total of two centimetres, are particularly striking. The optimised pedal plates are designed to significantly increase stability, reduce slipping and ensure a secure grip with every step off the bike. Another technical detail is the so-called Silent Float technology in the rear area of the cleats, which is intended to significantly reduce creaking noises, minimise abrasion and ensure a quieter, smoother interface with the pedal.
The new Keo Grip Cleats offer cyclists three different degrees of freedom to optimally fulfil their individual needs. The 0-degree version is aimed at riders who prefer a firm, ultra-precise grip and do not require lateral freedom of movement. The 4.5-degree option represents a compromise and is designed to offer the optimum balance between stability and comfort. For cyclists who want more freedom of movement or have knee problems, the 9-degree version is suitable, which is designed to maximise freedom of movement and minimise stress on the knees. The different Float options can be recognised by the colour of the cleats, which makes it easier to select and differentiate between them. The Keo Grip cleats are fully integrated into the LOOK Fit ecosystem and enable millimetre-precise adjustments through combinations of cleat spacers, compensation wedges for sole curvatures and 56-millimetre pedal axles. This versatility makes them suitable for a wide range of applications, from ambitious hobby riders to professionals.
The new Keo Grip cleats are fully compatible with all LOOK Keo pedals and fit seamlessly into the French manufacturer's existing ecosystem. This means that cyclists who already use LOOK Keo pedals can easily switch to the new cleats without having to replace any other components. The millimetre-precise adjustment options using cleat spacers, compensating wedges for sole curvatures and 56-millimetre pedal axles offer extensive options for customising the foot position. These precise adjustment options are particularly relevant for frequent riders and cyclists who value optimum power transmission and an ergonomic foot position. The new Keo Grip Cleats will be available from January 2026 and will be offered at a price of 20 euros. LOOK Cycle is thus positioning its new product in the mid-price segment for high-quality road bike cleats and making it accessible to a broad target group. The availability of three different float options allows cyclists to choose the variant that suits their individual riding style and anatomical needs.
