The Norwegians’ idea isn’t entirely new. Brands such as Endura and Trek have, in the past, opted for particularly eye-catching colours and reflective elements. Nevertheless, the topic remains topical and relevant, particularly with the autumn and winter months approaching.
Under the slogan ‘See and be seen’, Sweet Protection is adding two new VIZ designs to several of its best-selling helmets. These include the Falconer 2Vi Mips, Falconer Aero 2Vi Mips, Primer Mips, Commuter Mips, Bushwhacker 2Vi Mips and Ripper Mips models.
With VIZ Yellow, the Norwegian manufacturer is adding a bright, high-visibility colour to its range, designed to be visible from a considerable distance. This version is aimed at cyclists who make a conscious effort to ensure maximum visibility on the roads.
Those who prefer a more understated look will find VIZ Black to be the perfect alternative. At first glance, it appears to be a classic black helmet, but its safety features only become apparent when light shines directly on it: reflective logos and patterns on the helmet shell then ensure significantly greater visibility.
With the VIZ concept, Sweet Protection is building on a tried-and-tested approach and reinterpreting it in its own design style: greater visibility on the bike, without compromising on a sporty and modern look.
