Oakley is expanding its high-performance sports eyewear portfolio with two new models that will be available from September 2025. The Stunt Wing and Stunt Devil are aimed at ambitious athletes who are looking for uncompromising stability and comfort during their activities. Both models were designed and tested in a development process lasting more than two years in close collaboration with 15 professional athletes. Both models differ in their design and specific technologies, which are tailored to different sporting requirements.
Stunt Wing: Maximum stability thanks to innovative headband
The Oakley Stunt Wing is characterised by a fully covering shield frame that ensures a comprehensive field of vision. The special feature of this model is the flexible strap made of Unobtainium, which gently moulds to the head and provides a secure fit. This construction ensures that the goggles do not slip even during abrupt movements - a decisive advantage for dynamic sports. The perfectly balanced weight of the Stunt Wing contributes to a barely noticeable wearing sensation, which is particularly advantageous during longer sporting activities. A special anti-sweat coating ensures clear vision even during intense moments, preventing drops of sweat from impairing vision. The lenses' Prizm technology also improves the perception of colours and contrasts so that sportspeople can see even the smallest details better when in motion.
Stunt Devil: Holding power inspired by nature
The Oakley Stunt Devil uses a different concept to ensure maximum grip. The model features split temples with high-friction Unobtainium inserts, whose design is inspired by the natural grip and structure of frog legs. This biomimetic solution adapts to the shape of the head and minimises slippage without exerting excessive pressure. After more than 500 test miles with professional athletes, an optimal balance between rotational stability, weight distribution and comfort was found. The Stunt Devil comes in a mask design that perfectly hugs the face and ensures a secure fit. For athletes with smaller face shapes, Oakley also offers the Stunt Devil S version, which offers a tighter fit. This model is also equipped with Prizm technology, which improves contrasts and details - ideal for demanding conditions in every sprint, every incline and every curve.
Technological innovations for top performance
Both eyewear models combine several technological innovations that have been specially developed for the requirements of competitive athletes. HyperGrip ULTRA technology is the central element, which has been implemented differently in the two models. While the Stunt Wing uses a circumferential headband, the Stunt Devil utilises split temples with special grip zones. The Unobtainium material used is known for its sweat-resistant properties - the more you sweat, the better it adheres. This makes both goggles particularly suitable for intensive training sessions and competitions in challenging conditions. The Prizm lens technology used in both models has been specially developed to optimise visual perception. It enhances certain colours and contrasts so that athletes can better perceive bumps, obstacles and other details in their surroundings. This is particularly important at high speeds or in changing light conditions, as can occur in cycling, running or other outdoor activities.
Development in collaboration with professional athletes
