Bell Gage 2012 helmet in individual test
While we were able to try out the first test samples, Bell's new top model called Gage celebrated its professional premiere at the Tour of Flanders on the heads of the Team BMC pros.

The helmet, which weighs 230 grams and is available in seven colour variants, is solidly made, the adjustment system is height-adjustable and is tightened at the back of the head using a twist lock. However, the thin chin straps loosen easily in the chin lock. A reinforcement integrated into the helmet shell is intended to give the helmet additional rigidity in the event of an impact. In practice, the helmet impresses with its universal fit and good ventilation.

PLUS Fit; size adjustment
MINUS Flat chin straps are easy to adjust
