Giro's new top helmet is called Aeon and weighs just 191 grams in size M. The helmet shell is reinforced with a plastic grid.
Unlike the 170 gram Prolight, however, the Aeon has a fully-fledged, height-adjustable adjustment system with a twist lock and adjustable chin straps. During an initial test at the Tour of Flanders for cyclists, we were impressed by the new Giro's excellent, comfortable fit and convenient adjustment system. We were also impressed by the effective cooling. And thanks to its low weight, you hardly notice that you're wearing a helmet.
