Cannondale helmet in the TOUR test
Helmet from Cannondale: The new top-of-the-range Dynam helmet is so new that it was not yet available on the manufacturer's website at the time of our practical test at the beginning of April. Nevertheless, we were able to obtain a copy for our first test rides.
First impression: The helmet equipped with the Mips safety system feels comparatively voluminous on the head and is slightly behind the competitors in the top class in terms of weight; around 250 grams is a good standard here, the Dynam weighs 320 grams (in size M).
Apart from that, however, all the testers liked its all-round fit straight away - nobody complained about pressure points. The magnetic Fidlock fastener is very practical and easy to use, a unique feature of this well-ventilated helmet, which is available in six colours.
Unfortunately, the brand new helmet was not available in sufficient quantities for our helmet test for the TOUR 6/23.
