Trek Boone 6

The 2023 Trek Boone 6 is a high-quality cyclocross bike designed for demanding riders. Priced at 3899 EUR, it offers an impressive combination of advanced technology and robust design.

The Boone 6’s frame is made from 600 Series OCLV Carbon and features IsoSpeed technology, which absorbs vibrations and provides additional comfort. The tapered head tube and internal cable routing contribute to aerodynamic efficiency, whilst the Ride Tuned seat tube and 3S chain guide ensure precise power transfer. The T47 bottom bracket and flat-mount disc brake mounts, combined with a 142 x 12 mm thru-axle, offer stability and reliability.

The bike’s maximum load capacity is 125 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs just 8 kg, making it a lightweight yet robust companion.

The front and rear Shimano RX810 hydraulic disc brakes ensure reliable braking performance in all weather conditions. The brakes are fitted with Shimano MT800 Centre Lock disc mounts and 160 mm brake discs.

The Boone 6 features Shimano GRX RX810 shifters with an 11-speed drivetrain, enabling precise and rapid gear changes. The fork is a Trek Cross full-carbon fork with a tapered carbon steerer and flat-mount disc, as well as a 12x100 mm thru-axle.

The crankset consists of a Shimano GRX RX810 with a 40-tooth chainring and a crank arm length of 175 mm. The bottom bracket is a threaded Praxis T47. The cassette is a Shimano Ultegra HG800 with an 11–34 tooth range and 11 speeds. Power is transmitted via a Shimano Ultegra HG701 chain.

The handlebars are Bontrager Elite IsoZone VR-CF made of aluminium, with a diameter of 31.8 mm, a reach of 93 mm, a drop of 123 mm and a width of 44 cm. The stem is a Bontrager Pro, also with a diameter of 31.8 mm, Blendr-compatible, an angle of 7 degrees and a length of 100 mm.

The tyres are Bontrager CX3 Team Issue in size 700 x 32, fitted to Bontrager Paradigm Comp 25 wheelsets, which are tubeless-ready and have an inner width of 25 mm. The thru-axles are 100 x 12 mm at the front and 142 x 12 mm at the rear.

The saddle is a Bontrager Verse Comp with steel rails and a width of 145 mm, fitted to a Bontrager aluminium seatpost with a 5 mm offset.

The bike’s packed dimensions are 21 mm wide, 119 mm high and 189 mm long. The reach is 39 mm, the stack 60 mm, the seat tube length 55 mm and the top tube length 57 mm. The head tube angle is 72 degrees, the seat tube angle 73 degrees, the head tube length 18 mm, the chainstay length 42 mm, the standover height 82 mm and the wheelbase 103 mm.
