Trek Allant+ 5 Stagger

The "Allant+ 5 Stagger" model from the "Trek" brand, released in 2022, offers high-quality specifications at a price of 3,299 EUR. The frame is constructed from high-performance hydroformed aluminium tubes and features internal cable routing as well as a Motor Armor. The Post Mount disc brake mounts and the 135 x 5 mm quick-release axle round off the robust and functional frame design. The maximum permissible weight is 136 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 19 kg.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes at both the front and rear, each fitted with Shimano RT26 discs featuring a 6-hole mounting pattern and a diameter of 180 mm. The gear lever is a Shimano Altus M2010 with 9 speeds. The SR Suntour Mobie 25 fork, featuring a steel spring, lockout and adjustable spring preload, offers 45 mm of travel and is complemented by a tapered aluminium steerer tube and a 15 x 100 mm thru-axle.

Lighting is provided by a Herrmans MR-GO front light with 100 lumens and 35 lux, and a Spanninga SOLO rear light for e-bikes. The pedals are the VP-857 model, whilst the crankset is an aluminium unit from ProWheel with a crank arm length of 170 mm. The cassette is a Shimano HG200 with an 11–36 tooth range for 9 speeds, and the drivetrain uses a KMC E9S chain.

The handlebars are aluminium low-riser bars with a width of 660 mm, a rise of 25 mm and a bend of 11 degrees. The grips are Bontrager Satellite Elite with aluminium clamps. The stem is a Bontrager Comp with a diameter of 31.8 mm, Blendr-compatible, an angle of 7 degrees and a length of 80 mm. The headset is an integrated FSA headset with sealed cartridge bearings.

The tyres are Schwalbe G-One in size 650x57C, fitted to Bontrager Kovee hollow-section rims, which are Tubeless Ready and have an internal width of 23 mm. The front hub is a Bontrager Disc with a 15 mm aluminium thru-axle, whilst the rear hub is a Formula DC-22 aluminium hub.

The saddle is a Bontrager Commuter Comp, fitted to an aluminium seatpost with a diameter of 31.6 mm, a 12 mm offset and a length of 330 mm. The saddle is clamped using a bolt-on clamp with a diameter of 36.4 mm. The mudguards are SKS plastic mudguards, and the kickstand is a Pletscher Comp Flex 18. The luggage rack is MIK-compatible and made of aluminium, with a maximum load capacity of 25 kg.

The bike is powered by a Bosch Performance CX motor with a magnesium housing, an output of 250 watts and a torque of 85 Nm. Assistance is provided up to a maximum speed of 25 km/h. The battery is a Bosch PowerPack Performance with a capacity of 500 Wh, mounted on the down tube. The charger is a standard Bosch charger with an output of 4A (220–240 V).

The packaging dimensions are: width 23 mm, height 119 mm and length 201 mm. The bike’s geometry comprises a reach of 38 mm, a stack of 62 mm, a seat tube length of 50 mm, a top tube length of 57 mm, a head tube angle of 70 degrees, a seat tube angle of 73 degrees, a head tube length of 16 mm, a chainstay length of 48 mm, a standover height of 66 mm and a wheelbase of 112 mm.
