Stevens Sonora ES

The “Sonora ES” model from Stevens, released in 2023, is a high-quality mountain bike that stands out for its first-class specifications and well-thought-out design. Priced at 3099 EUR, it offers a remarkable combination of performance and quality.

The Sonora ES’s frame is made from Carbon SL HMF, which gives the bike high stability whilst keeping its weight low. The maximum load capacity is 115 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs just 10 kg, ensuring an agile and light riding experience.

The Sonora ES’s braking system is fully equipped with components from the Shimano Deore XT series. Both the brake levers (Shimano Deore XT BL-M8100) and the front and rear brakes (Shimano Deore XT BR-M8100) offer precise control and powerful braking. The handlebars and stem are from Oxygen Scorpo MTB, with the handlebars measuring 740 mm in width. The headset is a STEVENS MTB Taper 1 1/8"-1 1/2", which supports precise steering. The wheelset consists of DT Swiss X 1900 Spline wheels, which are renowned for their reliability and robustness.

The tyres are specially designed for off-road use: a Schwalbe Racing Ray Evolution (57-622) is fitted at the front, and a Schwalbe Racing Ralph Evolution (57-622) at the rear. Both tyres offer excellent grip and low rolling resistance.

The spec is rounded off by the Oxygen Roccia saddle and the Oxygen Scorpo MTB seatpost, which together ensure comfort and stability.
