Stevens Sonora ES 29"

The "Sonora ES 29" model from Stevens, released in 2022, stands out for its high-quality components and advanced technology. The frame is made from Carbon SL HMF, which gives the bike excellent stability whilst keeping it lightweight.

For the brakes, Stevens relies on the tried-and-tested quality of Shimano Deore XT BR-M8100 at both the front and rear. The brake levers are also Shimano Deore XT BL-M8100, ensuring reliable and precise braking performance. The front brake discs have a diameter of 180 mm (RT-MT800) and the rear discs 160 mm (RT-MT800).

The Sonora ES 29’s gear system is fitted with the Shimano Deore XT Shadow+ RD-M8100-SGS, which ensures fast and precise gear changes. This is supported by the Shimano Deore XT SL-M8100 shift levers. Optimal suspension is provided by the Fox 32 Float SC Performance fork, which ensures comfort and control even on challenging routes.

The bottom bracket is a Pressfit BB92, and the crankset consists of a Shimano Deore XT FC-M8100-1 with 34 teeth. The cassette is a Shimano Deore XT CS-M8100-12, which offers a 12-speed drivetrain and thus provides a wide range of gears.

The handlebars and stem are of the Oxygen Scorpo MTB type, with the handlebars measuring 740 mm in width. The headset is a STEVENS MTB Taper 1 1/8"-1 1/2". For the tyres, Stevens has opted for Schwalbe Racing Ray Evolution at the front and Schwalbe Racing Ralph Evolution at the rear, both in size 57-622. The wheels are DT Swiss X 1900 Spline, which ensure a smooth ride and high reliability.
