Stevens Primera Forma

The “Primera Forma” model from Stevens, released in 2023, is a versatile and robust bicycle priced at EUR 1,099. The frame is made from 6061 TB aluminium, providing a stable and durable foundation. With a maximum load capacity of 130 kg and a kerb weight of 16 kg, the bike is suitable for both everyday use and longer rides.

The Primera Forma’s braking system comprises Shimano BL-MT201 brake levers and Shimano BR-MT200 disc brakes at the front and rear, ensuring reliable braking performance. The front brake discs have a diameter of 180 mm and the rear ones 160 mm (Shimano SM-RT30).

A Shimano Deore Trekking Shadow RD-T6000-SGS rear derailleur with 30 gears has been fitted, controlled by Shimano Deore SL-M6000 shift levers. The front derailleur is a Shimano Deore Trekking FD-T6000-L3M. These components enable precise and smooth gear changes.

The bike’s fork is an SR Suntour NX1-Coil LO with 63 mm of travel, which offers additional comfort on uneven roads. The bike is lit at the front by a B+M IQ Avy T Senso+ front light and at the rear by a B+M Toplight 2C+ rear light, both of which are powered by a Shimano DH-3D37 dynamo.

Other features include City Reflex pedals, a BSA 68 mm bottom bracket and a Shimano FC-T521 crankset with 48-36-26 teeth. The cassette is a Shimano CS-HG500 with ten speeds. The handlebars (Oxygen Driver, 630 mm) and stem (Oxygen Scorpo) provide a comfortable and ergonomic riding position.

The rims are Oxygen RM-26 Disc (26 x 622) at both the front and rear, and the tyres are Continental Contact Urban (47-622), which ensure good traction and durability. The front hub is also a Shimano DH-3D37 model, whilst the rear hub is a Formula CL-52.

The saddle is a Selle Royal Nuvola Lady, which, together with the Oxygen Driver seatpost, ensures a comfortable ride. SKS mudguards, a Pletscher Comp kickstand and a Racktime luggage rack round off the specifications of the Stevens Primera Forma, making it an ideal companion for a wide range of uses.
