Stevens Devil´s Trail

The 2023 "Devil's Trail" model from Stevens is a robust and versatile mountain bike, available for 1399 EUR. The frame is made from 6061 TB aluminium, resulting in a total weight of 12 kg and a maximum load capacity of 115 kg.

Shimano components have been used for the braking system: the brake levers are Shimano BL-MT401, whilst both the front and rear brakes are Shimano BR-MT410. The brake discs are also from Shimano, measuring 180 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear (model SM-RT54).

The bike’s derailleur is a Shimano Deore Shadow+ RD-M6100-SGS with 12 speeds. The shifter is the Shimano Deore SL-M6100-R. The crankset is a Shimano FC-MT510-1 with 32 teeth, and the cassette is a Sunrace CSMZ602, also 12-speed. The bottom bracket is a 73 mm BSA.

Suspension is provided by a Rock Shox Recon Gold RL fork with 100 mm of travel. The pedals are classic aluminium MTB flat pedals. The bike’s handlebars are Oxygen Driver, 740 mm wide, combined with an Oxygen Driver stem and a STEVENS MTB Taper headset (1 1/8"–1 1/2").

The rims are Oxygen RM-M19, both front and rear (19 x 584). The tyres are Schwalbe Rocket Ron Performance in sizes 27.5" (57-584) or 29" (57-622), depending on the variant. The front hub is a Strummer CLTP, whilst the rear hub is a Formula CL-26.

The saddle on the “Devil’s Trail” is an Oxygen Havoc, fitted to an Oxygen Driver seatpost. Overall, the Stevens “Devil’s Trail” offers a well-thought-out combination of high-quality components and solid build quality, making it an attractive option for mountain bike enthusiasts.
