Stevens Avantgarde Lady

The "Avantgarde Lady" model from Stevens, launched in 2022, is a high-quality trekking bike designed specifically for women. It offers a balanced combination of comfort, performance and reliability at a price of 1,999 EUR. The bike’s frame is made from 6061 TB aluminium, which ensures a good balance between stability and light weight.

For the brakes, Stevens has opted for the tried-and-tested Shimano Deore BR-M6000 system at both the front and rear, combined with Shimano BL-T6000 brake levers. The front brake disc has a diameter of 180 mm and the rear one 160 mm (SM-RT54), ensuring reliable braking performance. The rear derailleur is a Shimano Deore XT Trekking Shadow RD-T8000-SGS, which enables precise and smooth gear changes. The shift levers are Shimano Deore SL-M6100-IR and the front derailleur is a Shimano Deore XT Trekking FD-T8000-HL3.

The SR Suntour NCX-E Air RL suspension fork provides comfortable damping and enhances riding comfort on uneven terrain. For lighting, the bike is fitted with a B+M IQ-XS T Senso+ front light and a B+M Shine Evo rear light, powered by a Shimano DH-UR708-3D dynamo. The pedals are ATB Alu Pro Reflex, which provide good grip and safety.

The bottom bracket is a BSA 68 mm and the crankset consists of a Shimano Deore XT Trekking FC-T8000 with 48-36-26 teeth. The cassette is a Shimano Deore XT CS-M771 with a 10-speed setup. The handlebars and stem are Oxygen Scorpo, with the handlebars measuring 630 mm in width. The headset is a STEVENS AH Taper 1 1/8"–1 1/2".

The rims are Oxygen RM-X21 Disc, measuring 21 x 622 at both the front and rear, and the tyres are Schwalbe Marathon Racer in size 40-622. The front hub is a Shimano DH-UR708-3D dynamo and the rear hub is a Shimano Deore XT FH-M8000. The saddle is a Selle Royal Nuvola Lady, mounted on an Oxygen Scorpo seatpost.

Additional features include SKS mudguards, a chain guard, a Pletscher Comp kickstand and a Racktime Shine Evo RTA luggage rack, all of which contribute to the bike’s practicality and versatility.
