Stevens 8X Lite Tour Gent

The "8X Lite Tour Gent" model from the Stevens brand from 2023 is a high-quality trekking bike that is characterised by its sophisticated features and robust construction. The frame is made of SL 6061 TB aluminium and gives the bike a high level of stability with a permissible total weight of 130 kg. With a tare weight of 13 kg, the bike nevertheless remains light and easy to handle.

The bike's braking system comprises Shimano Deore XT BR-M8100 brakes at the front and rear, which ensure reliable and powerful deceleration. The Shimano BL-T8100 brake levers and Shimano SM-RT64 brake discs with a diameter of 180 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear complete the braking system perfectly.

The Shimano Deore XT Trekking Shadow RD-T8000-SGS system is used for the gears, providing the rider with a total of 30 gears. The Shimano Deore XT Trekking SL-T8000 shift levers and the Shimano Deore XT Trekking FD-T8000-HL3 front derailleur enable precise gear changes. The Oxygen Scorpo crankset with 48-38-28 t chainrings and the Shimano CS-M771 10-speed sprocket offer a wide range of gear ratios.

The bike's fork is made of STEVENS S-Lite aluminium, which increases steering precision and stability. The B+M Lumotec IQ-X T front light and the B+M Shine Evo rear light, powered by the Shimano DH-UR708-3D dynamo, ensure optimum visibility in road traffic.

The bike is equipped with ATB Alu Comp Reflex pedals and has a BSA 73 mm bottom bracket. The Oxygen Scorpo handlebars with a width of 640 mm and the Oxygen Scorpo stem contribute to a comfortable riding position. The STEVENS AH Taper 1 1/8"-1 1/2" headset ensures stable steering.

The Oxygen RM-X21 rims in size 21 x 622 are fitted both at the front and rear and are fitted with Schwalbe G-One Allround Performance tyres in size 40-622, which ensure good traction and riding comfort. The hubs are Shimano DH-UR708-3D at the front and Shimano Deore XT FH-M8000 at the rear.

The Oxygen Havoc saddle and Oxygen Scorpo seat post offer a high level of comfort. The bike is also equipped with SKS mudguards, a Pletscher Comp kickstand and a Racktime Shine Evo RTA pannier rack, making it the ideal companion for longer tours.
