Scott Strike eRIDE 940

The 2024 Scott Strike eRIDE 940 is a versatile e-mountain bike designed for demanding riders. Priced at 3999 EUR, this model offers an impressive combination of performance and technology. The frame is made from a robust aluminium alloy and features Virtual 4-Link (VLK) suspension with 140 mm of travel. The frame is compatible with both 27.5-inch and 29-inch wheels and features a geo-adjustable Boost 148x12mm axle. Furthermore, the frame is designed to accommodate a removable battery and is compatible with the Bosch Gen4 motor.

The bike’s maximum permissible weight is 128 kg, whilst its kerb weight is 23 kg. The Strike eRIDE 940 is suitable for riders between 170 cm and 180 cm in height. The braking system consists of SRAM DB8 4-piston disc brakes at both the front and rear, each with 200 mm Centreline CL rotors. Gear changes are handled by a SRAM NX Eagle 12-speed system, complemented by a SRAM SX Eagle Single Click shifter.

The Marzocchi Z2 Air fork offers 140 mm of travel and features eMTB+ technology with three modes, as well as a 15x110 mm QR axle. The X-Fusion NUDE trunnion shock has been specially adapted for Scott and also offers 140 mm of travel with three modes: Lockout, Traction Control and Descend.

The bike is fitted with Bosch Light Cable for front and rear lights, which improves visibility in low-light conditions. Power is transmitted via an FSA CK-320 crankset with a length of 165 mm and a 34T chainring, complemented by a SRAM PG1210 cassette (11–50T).

The handlebars, a Syncros Hixon 2.0 Rise made of aluminium, are 760 mm wide, with a 20 mm rise and an 8-degree backsweep. The Syncros FL2.0 stem is 50 mm long and has a 6-degree angle. The rims are Syncros MD30 models, tubeless-ready and fitted with stainless steel spokes. The tyres are Maxxis Rekon (29x2.6") with EXO protection and dual compound.

The bike is fitted with a Syncros Duncan Dropper Post 2.5 seatpost, which offers a travel of up to 125 mm depending on frame size. The saddle is a Syncros Capilano model.

The Bosch Performance CX motor provides powerful assistance up to a speed of 25 km/h (EU) or 20 mph (INT). The integrated PowerTube battery has a capacity of 500 Wh and is charged using a 4A charger. The Bosch Purion display provides all the necessary information whilst riding.

The bike’s geometry comprises a reach of 441 mm, a stack of 631 mm, a seat tube length of 441 mm and a top tube length of 594 mm. The head tube angle is 65 degrees and the seat tube angle is 76 degrees. Other dimensions include a head tube length of 125 mm, a chainstay length of 465 mm and a wheelbase of 1236 mm.
