Scott Strike eRIDE 930 grey

The "Strike eRIDE 930 grey" model from Scott, released in 2024, is a high-quality e-mountain bike priced at 5299 EUR. The frame is made from a robust aluminium alloy and features Virtual 4 Link Kinematic (VLK) technology, which is compatible with both 27.5-inch and 29-inch wheels. The frame is designed for a Boost 148x12mm axle and offers 140 mm of suspension travel. It is also fitted with an integrated, removable battery and is compatible with the Bosch Gen4 motor. Further frame features include a tapered head tube (Tapered Headtube E2), a central kickstand mount and the option to install a Range Booster.

The bike’s maximum permissible weight is 128 kg, whilst its kerb weight is 24 kg. The minimum rider height for using the bike is 170 cm, and the maximum is 180 cm. Braking performance is provided by SRAM DB8 4-piston disc brakes at the front and rear, fitted with 200 mm diameter Centreline CL rotors. The drivetrain consists of a SRAM NX Eagle 12-speed groupset, operated by a SRAM SX Eagle Single Click shifter.

The bike’s suspension fork is a Marzocchi Z2 Air with eMTB+ technology, offering 140 mm of travel. It features a 15x110 mm QR axle, a tapered steerer tube, adjustable rebound damping and a lockout function. The X-Fusion NUDE Trunnion shock is specially tuned for the Scott bike and also offers 140 mm of travel, as well as three modes: Lockout, Traction Control and Descend.

The bike comes pre-fitted with Bosch Light cables for the front and rear lights. The crankset consists of FSA CK-320 cranks with a length of 165 mm and a 34-tooth chainring. The cassette is an SRAM PG1210 with a range of 11–50 teeth.

The handlebars are aluminium Syncros Hixon 2.0 Rise with a 20 mm rise, a width of 760 mm and an 8-degree backsweep. The grips are Syncros Comfort Lock-On grips. The stem is a Syncros FL2.0 made of aluminium, with a length of 50 mm and an angle of 6 degrees.

The rims are Syncros MD30 models, which are tubeless-ready and have a diameter of 30 mm. The tyres are Maxxis Rekon, measuring 29x2.6 inches, and feature EXO protection and a dual rubber compound. The hubs are by Formula: the CL-811 model at the front and the CL-148S model at the rear.

The saddle is a Syncros Capilano, mounted on a Syncros Duncan Dropper Post 2.5 seatpost, which offers an adjustment range of up to 170 mm depending on frame size. The motor is a Bosch Performance CX, which provides assistance up to a speed of 25 km/h within the EU. The battery has a capacity of 625 Wh and is charged using a 4A charger. The display is a Bosch Purion.

The bike’s packaging dimensions are 27 mm wide, 88 mm high and 170 mm long, with a gross weight of 35 kg.
