Scott Speedster 40 rim brake

The "Speedster 40 rim brake" model from Scott, released in 2024, offers a balanced combination of performance and comfort at a price of 899 EUR. The frame is made from Speedster / D.Butted 6061 aluminium with endurance geometry and an integrated head tube. The internal cable routing ensures a clean look and protects the cables from external influences. With a maximum load capacity of 120 kg and a kerb weight of 10 kg, the bike is robust yet lightweight.

The brakes are fitted with Tektro BR-315 units at the front and rear, which use cartridge pads measuring 39–51 mm. The headset consists of integrated steel caps. The stem length is 113 mm. The rims are Syncros Race 24, both front and rear, with 24 spokes at the front and 28 at the rear. The spokes are black SHA-DAR with a diameter of 2 mm.

The tyres are Schwalbe Lugano in size 700x28C, fitted to Formula Comp hubs (24 holes at the front, 28 holes at the rear). The saddle is a Syncros Tofino Regular 2.5, fitted to a Syncros RR2.5 seatpost measuring 27.2 mm in diameter and 350 mm in length.
