Scott Spark RC Team Issue TR

The 2024 "Spark RC Team Issue TR" model from Scott is a high-end mountain bike designed for demanding riders. Priced at 5999 EUR, this bike offers a comprehensive range of features and state-of-the-art technology. The frame is made from Spark RC Carbon HMF and incorporates Suspension Technology, Flex Pivot and an adjustable head angle system. It also features the Syncros Cable Integration System, a BB92 bottom bracket, a UDH interface and a 12x148mm Boost rear end with a 55mm chainline.

The braking system consists of Shimano XT M8100 disc brakes at both the front and rear. The front brake discs have a diameter of 180mm and the rear ones 160mm; both are Shimano SM-RT76 models with 6-bolt mounting. The drivetrain is a wireless, electronic SRAM GX Eagle AXS 12-speed system, controlled via the SRAM GX Eagle AXS Rocker Controller.

The suspension fork is a FOX 34 SC Float Performance Air Grip with 120mm of travel and various adjustment options such as rebound adjustment and lockout. The FOX NUDE 5 EVOL trunnion shock also offers 120mm of travel and is equipped with SCOTT’s proprietary geometry and travel adjustment system.

The bottom bracket is a SRAM DUB PF 92 MTB Wide, whilst the crankset consists of a SRAM GX Eagle Transmission DUB with 32 teeth. The cassette is a SRAM GX Eagle XS 1275 Transmission with a 10–52-tooth range. The drivetrain is completed by a SRAM CN GX Eagle Transmission chain.

The handlebars are Syncros Fraser iC SL XC Carbon, 740mm wide with a negative rise of 12°. The grips are Syncros Performance XC lock-on grips. The headset offers an angle adjustment of ±0.6° and is a Syncros Acros model. The stem is 70mm long.

The wheelset consists of Syncros Silverton 2.0-30 tubeless-ready rims with a width of 30mm. The tyres are Maxxis Rekon Race, measuring 29x2.4", which are also tubeless-ready and feature EXO protection. The saddle is a Syncros Belcarra Regular 1.5 with titanium rails, whilst the seatpost is a FOX Transfer SL Performance dropper post.

The bike’s geometry comprises a seat tube length of 540mm, a top tube length of 641mm, a head tube angle of 66 degrees and a seat tube angle of 77 degrees. Further dimensions include a reach of 500mm, a stack of 627mm, a chainstay length of 438mm and a bottom bracket height of 332mm.

The bike is supplied in a box measuring 1700mm in length, 870mm in height and 260mm in width, and has a gross weight of 18480g. This model is suitable for riders between 180 cm and 200 cm in height.
