Scott Spark RC SL TR

The 2024 "Spark RC SL TR" model from Scott is a state-of-the-art mountain bike designed for demanding riders. Priced at 13,999 EUR, this bike offers an impressive combination of advanced technology and top-class components.

The Spark RC SL TR’s frame is made from Spark RC Carbon HMX SL and features Integrated Suspension Technology and Flex Pivot. This design allows for adjustable head angle geometry and incorporates the Syncros Cable Integration System. The frame is fitted with a BB92 bottom bracket, a UDH interface and a 12x148mm axle with a 55mm chainline. Weighing just 1870g (including the shock), it is the lightest 120mm frame in its class.

The bike is fitted with Shimano XTR M9100 disc brakes at the front and rear, with front rotors measuring 180mm in diameter and rear rotors 160mm. Gear changes are handled by the SRAM XX SL Eagle AXS wireless electronic gear system with 12 speeds, controlled by the SRAM Eagle AXS Rocker Controller.

The Spark RC SL TR’s fork is a FOX 34 SC Float Factory Air with Kashima coating and FIT4 damping. It offers 120mm of travel and features a 3-mode adjustment as well as a lockout function. The rear shock is a FOX NUDE 5 Factory EVOL Trunnion, also with a Kashima coating, and offers three modes: Lockout, Traction Control and Descend. The rear shock also has 120mm of travel.

The bottom bracket is an SRAM DUB PF 92 MTB, and the crankset consists of an SRAM XX SL Eagle AXS Transmission with carbon cranks and an integrated Spider Power Meter. The cassette is a SRAM XX SL Eagle XS 1299 with a 10–52-tooth range, and the drivetrain is powered by a SRAM CN XX SL Eagle chain.

The handlebars are Syncros Fraser iC SL XC Carbon with a -12° rise and an 8° back sweep, and a width of 740mm. The grips are Syncros Performance XC lock-on grips. The headset is a Syncros Acros Angle Adjust & Cable Routing HS System with stainless steel bearings and ±0.6° steering angle adjustment.

The wheelset consists of Syncros Silverton SL2-30 CL full-carbon wheels with DT Swiss 240 Ratchet EXP 36 hubs and an XD driver. The tyres are Maxxis Rekon Race in size 29x2.4", tubeless-ready and fitted with EXO protection.

The saddle is a Syncros Belcarra SL Regular 1.0 with carbon rails, and the seatpost is a FOX Transfer SL Factory Dropper Post Kashima with a diameter of 31.6mm and a travel of 75mm for size S, and 100mm for sizes M, L and XL.

The frame geometry comprises a reach of 470mm, a stack of 618mm, a seat tube length of 490mm and a top tube length of 613mm. The head tube angle is 66 degrees, the seat tube angle 76 degrees, the head tube length 105 mm, the chainstay length 438 mm, the bottom bracket drop is 44 mm, the top tube height is 778 mm, the fork offset is 130 mm, the wheelbase is 1205 mm and the bottom bracket height is 332 mm.

The bike’s gross weight is 17,020 g. The model is suitable for riders between 180 cm and 190 cm tall and offers outstanding performance for both racing and challenging trail adventures.
