Scott Spark RC Comp green

The "Spark RC Comp green" model from Scott, released in 2024, is a high-performance mountain bike priced at 3999 EUR. The frame is made from Spark RC Carbon HMF and features Integrated Suspension Technology and a Flex Pivot. The adjustable head angle and Syncros cable integration technology ensure a clean look and optimised functionality. The maximum rider weight is 128 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs just 12 kg.

Suitable for riders between 180 cm and 190 cm tall, the bike offers precise control thanks to the front and rear Shimano Deore M6100 disc brakes with 180 mm and 160 mm rotors respectively. The 12-speed drivetrain is provided by SRAM NX Eagle components, including the NX Eagle trigger shifter and a cassette with an 11–50T range.

The suspension on the Spark RC Comp green consists of a FOX 32 Float Rhythm Grip fork with 120 mm of travel and a FOX Float Custom EVOL Performance Trunnion shock, also with 120 mm of travel. Both components offer various modes, including Lockout, Trail and Descend, to adapt to different types of terrain.

The Syncros components contribute to stability and comfort: The Syncros Fraser 2.0 XC handlebar is 740 mm wide and has an 8-degree backsweep, whilst the Syncros XC 2.0 stem has a -12-degree angle and a length of 60 mm. The Syncros X-30SE rims are tubeless-ready and are fitted with Maxxis Rekon Race tyres in size 29x2.4", which are also tubeless-ready.

Other features include an SRAM DUB PF92 bottom bracket, an SRAM NX Eagle DUB crankset with a 32-tooth chainring, Syncros Performance XC lock-on grips, and a Syncros Belcarra Regular 2.0 saddle with CRMO rails. The seatpost is a Syncros Duncan 2.0 with a 10 mm offset and dimensions of 31.6x400 mm.

The frame geometry is designed for performance: a reach of 470 mm, a stack of 618 mm, a seat tube length of 490 mm and a top tube length of 613 mm provide a balanced riding position. The head tube angle is 66 degrees, the seat tube angle is 76 degrees, and the chainstay length is 438 mm. With a wheelbase of 1205 mm and a bottom bracket height of 332 mm, the bike offers stability and agility off-road.
