The "Spark 970 silver" model from Scott, released in 2024, is a versatile and robust mountain bike that stands out for its high-quality components and well-thought-out design. The frame is made from Spark Alloy SL 6011 and incorporates advanced suspension technology. With a flexible pivot point and an adjustable steering angle, the bike offers a high degree of adaptability and stability. The Syncros Cable Integration System ensures a clean look and protects the cables from external influences. The frame is also fitted with a BB92 bottom bracket, a UDH interface and a 12x148mm Boost standard, enabling an optimal chainline of 55mm.

The handlebars are Syncros Fraser 2.0 DC made from 6061 D.B. alloy, with a width of 760 mm, minimal rise and an 8-degree backsweep. The grips are Syncros Performance XC lock-on grips. The stem is a Syncros DC 3.0 featuring the Syncros Cable Integration System; it has a 0-degree rise and is made from 6061 aluminium.

The wheelsets consist of Syncros X-30SE rims, each with 32 spokes and a width of 30 mm, combined with Schwalbe Wicked Will tyres in size 29x2.4", which provide excellent grip and riding comfort. The hubs are by Formula: the CL-811 model at the front and the CL-3248 model at the rear.

The saddle is a Syncros Tofino 2.5 Regular, mounted on a Syncros Duncan Dropper Post seatpost, which offers a drop range of 100 mm to 150 mm depending on frame size. The bike’s geometry features a reach of 410 mm, a stack of 608 mm, a seat tube length of 415 mm and a top tube length of 561 mm. The head tube angle is 66 degrees, the seat tube angle is 76 degrees, the chainstay length is 438 mm and the bottom bracket drop is 44 mm.
