Scott Spark 910

The "Spark 910" model from Scott, released in 2024, is a state-of-the-art mountain bike designed for discerning riders who value outstanding performance and advanced technology. Priced at 5999 EUR, the bike offers a wide range of high-quality components and technical refinements.

The Spark 910’s frame is made from Spark Carbon HMF and incorporates innovative suspension technology and Flex Pivot. This enables adjustable geometry and seamless cable routing via the Syncros Cable Integration System. The frame is compatible with a BB92 bottom bracket and features a UDH interface as well as a 12x148mm axle with a 55mm chainline. The bike’s maximum load capacity is 128 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs in at 12 kg.

The Spark 910 is suitable for riders between 160 cm and 170 cm in height. The brakes consist of Shimano XT M8120 4-piston disc brakes, both front and rear, with Shimano SM-RT76 brake discs in a 6-hole design and a diameter of 180 mm. The rear derailleur is a Shimano XT RD-M8100 SGS with Shadow Plus technology and 12 speeds, controlled by Shimano XT SL-M8100-IR shift levers with Rapidfire Plus and Ispec EV clamps.

The front fork is a FOX 34 Float Performance Elite Air FIT4 with three modes and low-speed adjustment. It features a Kabolt 15x110 mm axle, a tapered steerer tube, rebound adjustment and a lockout function, with 130 mm of travel. The rear shock is a FOX NUDE 5T EVOL Trunnion, specially tuned by Scott, with three modes: Lockout, Traction Control and Descend. It offers travel ranging from 120 mm to 80 mm and can be fully locked out.

The bottom bracket is a Shimano SM-BB71-41A with a shell width of 41x92 mm. The crankset is a Shimano XT FC-M8120-1 with Hollowtech 2 technology and a 32-tooth chainring. The cassette is a Shimano XT CS-M8100-12 with a range of 10 to 51 teeth. The drivetrain is completed by a Shimano SLX CN-M7100 chain.

The handlebars are Syncros Fraser iC SL DC Carbon, with a width of 760 mm, an 8° backward sweep and minimal rise. The grips are Syncros Performance XC lock-on grips. The headset is a Syncros Acros Angle Adjust & Cable Routing HS System, which allows for a head angle adjustment of ±0.6°.

The wheelset consists of Syncros Silverton 2.0-30 rims, which are tubeless-ready, with a width of 30 mm and 28 spokes. The tyres are Schwalbe Wicked Will 29x2.4" EVO, with Addix Speed Soft compound at the front and Addix Speed Grip compound at the rear. The saddle is a Syncros Tofino 1.5 Regular with titanium rails, mounted on a FOX Transfer Performance Elite dropper post with a 125 mm adjustment range.

The Spark 910 also features Syncros Fork Fender mudguards and is supplied in packaging measuring 30 mm wide, 88 mm high and 162 mm long. The gross weight of the packaging is 20,400 g.

The bike’s geometry comprises a reach of 410 mm, a stack of 608 mm, a seat tube length of 415 mm and a top tube length of 561 mm. The head tube angle is 66 degrees and the seat tube angle is 76 degrees. The head tube is 90 mm long, the chainstay length is 438 mm, the bottom bracket drop is 44 mm and the standover height is 759 mm. The fork installation height is 130 mm, the wheelbase measures 1145 mm in total and the bottom bracket height is 332 mm.
