Scott Spark 900 Ultimate TR

The 2024 "Spark 900 Ultimate TR" model from Scott is a state-of-the-art mountain bike designed for demanding riders. Priced at 12,999 EUR, it belongs to the premium class and offers a wide range of technical highlights and features.

The bike’s frame is made from Spark Carbon HMX and incorporates Suspension Technology, ensuring optimum damping. The Flex Pivot and adjustable head angle geometry offer additional customisation options. The Syncros Cable Integration System ensures clean cable routing, whilst the BB92 bottom bracket, the UDH interface and the 12x148mm Boost standard with a 55mm chainline complete the frame design.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano XTR M9120 4-piston disc brakes at both the front and rear, combined with Shimano RT-MT900 CL 180mm brake discs. Shifting is handled by the wireless, electronic SRAM XX SL Eagle AXS 12-speed transmission system, controlled by the SRAM Eagle AXS Rocker Controller. The crankset consists of a SRAM XX SL Eagle Transmission with carbon crankarms and a 32T chainring, whilst the cassette is a SRAM XX SL Eagle XS 1299 Transmission 10-52.

Suspension is provided by a FOX 34 Float Factory Air fork with Kashima coating and 130mm travel, as well as a FOX NUDE 5T Factory EVOL trunnion shock with 120mm travel and SCOTT custom travel/geometry adjustment. Both components offer various modes for lockout, traction control and downhill riding.

The cockpit consists of a Syncros Fraser iC SL DC carbon handlebar, 760mm wide, and Syncros Performance XC lock-on grips. The stem is 60mm long. The headset is the Syncros Acros Angle Adjust & Cable Routing HS System, which allows for a head angle adjustment of ±0.6°.

The wheels are Syncros Silverton SL2-30 CL full-carbon wheels with DT Swiss 240 Ratchet EXP 36 hubs and SRAM TyreWiz. The tyres are Schwalbe Wicked Will 29x2.4" EVO for the front and rear, both in the Super Race / TLE / 67EPI / Addix Speed compound.

The saddle is a Syncros Tofino Regular 1.0 with carbon rails, and the seatpost is a FOX Transfer Factory Dropper Post Kashima, which offers different travel lengths depending on frame size (125mm for size S, 140mm for size M, 150mm for sizes L and XL).

Additional features include Syncros Fork Fender mudguards and a total weight of 24,000 grams.
