Scott Solace eRIDE 20

The "Solace eRIDE 20" from Scott from 2024 is a modern e-bike designed for demanding riders looking for both performance and comfort. With a price tag of EUR 7999, this model offers a wide range of high-quality technical features and equipment.

The frame of the Solace eRIDE 20 is made of Solace eRIDE Disc HMX material and features eEndurance geometry. The construction is designed for a permissible total weight of 120 kg, while the bike itself weighs just 12 kg. The frame is prepared for fully internal cable routing and a range extender, which ensures a clean look and additional range.

The Shimano BR-R8170 hydraulic disc brakes front and rear and the Shimano RT-CL800 brake discs with a diameter of 160 mm ensure reliable and powerful braking performance. Shifting is ensured by the electronic 24-speed Shimano Ultegra Di2 RD-R8150-SS system, which enables precise and fast shifting. The shift and front derailleur levers are also part of the Shimano Ultegra Di2 system.

The bike is equipped with a Solace eRIDE HMX flatmount disc fork, which has an eccentric carbon steerer. The crankset is made of FSA eBike Alloy, while the cassette is a Shimano Ultegra CS-R8100-12 with a gradation of 11-34. The drive is provided by a Shimano Ultegra CN-M8100-12 chain.

The Syncros Creston 1.0 Compact carbon handlebars and the Syncros Creston 2.0 Compact Alloy stem with a length of 90 mm ensure comfort and control. The headset is an Acros AIF-1135 and the wheelset consists of Syncros Capital 1.0 40e disc wheels with 24 spokes at the front (12x100mmTA) and rear (12x142mmTA). The tyres are Schwalbe PRO ONE EVO Super Race, TL-Easy, Fold in size 700x38C.

The Syncros Belcarra Regular 1.0 saddle and the Syncros Duncan SL Aero seatpost provide additional comfort on long rides. The drive is supported by the TQ HPR50 Mid motor with a maximum torque of 50Nm, which is limited to 25 km/h in the EU and 28 mph in the USA. The internal battery has a capacity of 360 Wh and is charged via a TQ 100-240V-4A charger. The display offers Bluetooth, ANT+ connectivity as well as a dedicated smartphone app and DI2 integration.

The geometry of the frame includes a seat tube length of 477 mm, a top tube length of 518 mm, a head tube angle of 70 degrees, a seat tube angle of 75 degrees and a head tube length of 85 mm. Other dimensions include a chainstay length of 435 mm, a bottom bracket drop of 76 mm, a fork pre-bend of 50 mm, a standover height of 759 mm, a fork height of 406 mm, a wheelbase of 1021 mm and a bottom bracket height of 283 mm.

The Scott Solace eRIDE 20 is suitable for riders between 160 cm and 170 cm tall and offers a balanced combination of performance, comfort and advanced technology.
