Scott Ransom eRIDE 920

The "Ransom eRIDE 920" model from Scott, released in 2024, is a high-quality e-mountain bike characterised by its sophisticated technology and robust construction. The price for this model is 6,499 EUR. The frame is made from an aluminium alloy and is fitted with the Virtual 4 Link Kinematic (VLK) system, which is compatible with both 27.5" and 29" wheels. The frame offers adjustable geometry, a Boost 148x12mm standard and 180 mm of suspension travel. It is also designed to accommodate a removable battery and features a Bosch Gen4 motor mount as well as a central kickstand mount.

The maximum permissible weight is 128 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 24 kg. The recommended rider height is between 170 cm and 180 cm. Braking performance is provided by Shimano BR-M7120 4-piston brakes at both the front and rear, each fitted with 203 mm SM-RT70 CL brake discs.

The drivetrain consists of a Shimano XT 12-speed groupset, combined with a Shimano SL-M6100 shifter. The fork is a RockShox ZEB Air with 180 mm of travel, whilst the rear shock is a FOX Float X2 Performance Air, which also offers 180 mm of travel and features LSC and LSR adjustments as well as a 2-position lever.

Bosch Light cables are pre-installed for the lights, for both the front and rear lights. The crankset consists of an FSA CK-745 crank with a length of 165 mm and a 34-tooth chainring. The cassette is a Shimano CS-M6100 with a 10–51-tooth range. Power is transmitted via a Shimano CN-M6100 chain.

The handlebars are Syncros Hixon 2.0 Rise made from an aluminium alloy; they have a rise of 20 mm, a width of 800 mm and a backsweep of 8 degrees. The grips are Syncros Pro Lock-On grips. The stem is a Syncros XM1.5 made of aluminium, with a length of 50 mm and a diameter of 31.8 mm.

The rims are Syncros MD30 with 32 spokes; they are tubeless-ready and have a width of 30 mm. The tyres are Maxxis Assegai at the front and Maxxis Dissector at the rear, both sized 29x2.6" and tubeless-ready. The hubs are a Shimano HB-MT410-B CL at the front and a Shimano FH-MT410-B CL at the rear.

The saddle is a Syncros Tofino 2.0 Regular with CRMO rails, whilst the seatpost is a Syncros Duncan Dropper Post 2.5, which offers an adjustment range of up to 200 mm depending on frame size. A RockShox Fork Fender is fitted to protect the fork.

The bike is powered by a Bosch Performance CX motor with a maximum speed of 25 km/h (EU) or 20 mph (INT). The battery has a capacity of 625 Wh and is controlled via a Bosch Purion display. The battery is charged using a 4A charger.

The bike has the following geometry specifications: the reach is 447 mm, the stack is 640 mm, the seat tube length is 440 mm and the top tube length is 597 mm. The head tube angle is 64 degrees, the seat tube angle is 77 degrees and the head tube length is 120 mm. The chainstay length is 463 mm, the bottom bracket drop is 13 mm, the fork offset is 42 mm and the standover height is 758 mm. The fork installation height is 590 mm, the crank length is 165 mm, the wheelbase measures 1253 mm in total, and the bottom bracket height is 349 mm.
