Scott Lumen eRIDE 900

The "Lumen eRIDE 900" model from Scott, launched in 2024, is a state-of-the-art e-mountain bike designed for discerning riders. Priced at 9999 EUR, this bike offers an impressive combination of advanced technology and high-quality components.

The frame of the Lumen eRIDE 900 is made from HMX carbon and features Integrated Suspension Technology and Flex Pivot. This design allows for adjustable geometry and an integrated cable management system, ensuring a clean look. The frame is also fitted with the TQ HPR50 motor, which delivers a maximum torque of 50 Nm and provides assistance up to a speed of 25 km/h in the EU or 20 mph in the USA. The battery has a capacity of 360 Wh and is built into the frame, contributing to its sleek design.

The bike’s suspension is provided by the FOX 34 Float Performance Elite Air FIT4 fork with 130 mm of travel and the FOX NUDE 6T EVOL trunnion shock, also with 130 mm of travel. Both components offer multiple adjustment options to adapt the ride characteristics to different conditions.

Shifting is handled by the SRAM GX Eagle AXS transmission system with 12 speeds, which operates wirelessly and electronically. The saddle is the Syncros Tofino 1.5 Regular with titanium rails, mounted on a FOX Transfer dropper post with a variable height adjustment of up to 175 mm, depending on frame size. The bike is suitable for riders between 180 cm and 200 cm in height.

Additional features include the Syncros Fork Fender for extra protection, as well as a TQ HPR display with Bluetooth and ANT+ connectivity, which can be controlled via a dedicated smartphone app. The bike’s total weight is approximately 25 kg.

The bike’s geometry features a reach of 501 mm, a stack of 638 mm and a seat tube length of 520 mm. The head tube angle is 66 degrees, whilst the seat tube angle is 78 degrees. Other dimensions include a chainstay length of 450 mm, a bottom bracket drop of 39 mm and a standover height of 800 mm.
