Scott Genius ST 920

The “Genius ST 920” model from the “Scott” brand, released in 2024, is a versatile and high-performance mountain bike designed for challenging trails and descents. The price for this model is 4499 EUR.

The Genius ST 920’s frame is made from Genius Alloy 6061 and features Integrated Suspension Technology as well as Virtual 4 Link kinematics. The frame is fitted with an adjustable head tube angle and the Syncros Cable Integration System. Further features include the BB92 bottom bracket, the UDH interface and a 12x148mm axle width with a 55mm chainline. The bike’s maximum load capacity is 128 kg, whilst its kerb weight is 15 kg.

The bike is suitable for riders between 160 cm and 170 cm in height. The brakes consist of SRAM DB8 4-piston disc brakes at both the front and rear, with a 200mm SRAM Centerline CL brake disc at the front and an 180mm brake disc at the rear. The drivetrain is a 12-speed SRAM NX Eagle, controlled by a SRAM SX Eagle Trigger shifter.

The Genius ST 920 is fitted with a RockShox Lyrik Air fork, which offers 160 mm of travel. The handlebars are Syncros Hixon 2.0 made from 6061 D.B. aluminium, with a width of 780 mm, a rise of 12 mm and a backsweep of 8 degrees. The stem is a Syncros AM 2.0 with a 4-degree angle and a length of 40 mm.

The wheelsets consist of Syncros X-30S rims, 30 mm wide, fitted with black stainless steel spokes. The front hub is a Formula CL-811 with a 15x110 mm axle, and the rear hub is a Formula CL-148S with a 12x148 mm axle. The tyres are Maxxis Minion DHF at the front and Maxxis Dissector at the rear, both tubeless-ready and featuring EXO protection.

The seatpost is a Syncros Duncan Dropper Post 1.5 with a travel of 140 mm for size S. Mudguards are also fitted to protect the bike from dirt. The packaging dimensions are 30 mm wide, 89 mm high and 166 mm long, with a gross weight of 24640 g.
