Scott Genius 910 TR

The “Genius 910 TR” model from Scott, released in 2024, is a state-of-the-art, high-performance mountain bike designed specifically for challenging trails and a wide range of uses. Priced at 7,499 EUR, it is positioned in the premium segment and offers a wealth of high-quality components and innovative technology.

The Genius 910 TR’s frame consists of a carbon HMF mainframe with a 6061 alloy swingarm. This combination ensures an optimal balance between lightness and stability. The integrated suspension technology and the Virtual 4 Link kinematic system deliver outstanding suspension performance. The frame also features an adjustable head tube angle, the Syncros Cable Integration System, a BB92 bottom bracket shell and a UDH interface. The axle width is 12x148 mm with a 55 mm chainline.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano XT M8120 4-piston disc brakes at the front and rear, fitted with Shimano SM-RT76 brake discs (203 mm at the front and 180 mm at the rear). This combination offers excellent braking power and reliability in all conditions.

The Genius 910 TR is fitted with a SRAM GX Eagle AXS transmission featuring 12 speeds and a wireless electronic shifting system. The shifter is the SRAM GX Eagle AXS Rocker Controller, which enables precise and rapid gear changes. The crankset consists of a SRAM GX Eagle drivetrain with a 32T chainring configuration, whilst the cassette is a SRAM GX Eagle XS 1275 drivetrain with a 10–52 tooth range.

Suspension is provided by a FOX 36 Float Performance Elite Air FIT4 fork with 160 mm of travel and a FOX NUDE 5T EVOL trunnion shock with 150 mm of travel. Both suspension components offer several adjustment modes, including Lockout, Traction and Downhill, to adapt to different riding conditions.

The handlebars are Syncros Hixon iC Carbon, 780 mm wide with a 25 mm rise. The stem is 50 mm long. The grips are Syncros Endurance lock-on grips, which provide extra comfort and control.

The wheels are Syncros Revelstoke 1.5s with tubeless-ready rims and 2.6" Maxxis Dissector tyres fitted to both the front and rear. These tyres offer excellent grip and stability on a wide variety of surfaces.

The saddle is a Syncros Tofino 1.5 Regular with titanium rails, mounted on a Syncros Duncan Dropper Post 1.5 seatpost, which allows for variable adjustment of up to 170 mm.
