Scott Genius 900 Ultimate

The "Genius 900 Ultimate" model from Scott, released in 2024, is a state-of-the-art mountain bike equipped with a wide range of top-of-the-range components and designed for discerning riders. The bike’s frame is made from Genius Carbon HMX and incorporates Suspension Technology with a Virtual 4 Link kinematic system. The frame features adjustable head tube geometry and a Syncros cable integration system. Weighing just 12 kg and with a maximum rider weight of 128 kg, the bike is both lightweight and robust.

The Genius 900 Ultimate’s braking system comprises Shimano XTR M9120 4-piston disc brakes, both front and rear, with Shimano RT-MT900 CL brake discs (203 mm at the front and 180 mm at the rear). The drivetrain is a wireless electronic SRAM XX1 Eagle AXS 12-speed system, which ensures precise and rapid gear changes. The shifter is the SRAM Eagle AXS Rocker Controller.

Suspension is provided by a FOX 36 Float Factory Air fork with Kashima coating and 160 mm of travel, as well as a FOX NUDE 5T Factory EVOL shock with 150 mm of travel. Both suspension components offer multiple modes for adapting to different riding conditions.

The bottom bracket is a SRAM DUB PF 92 MTB Wide, and the crankset consists of a SRAM XX1 Eagle AXS with carbon crank arms and a 32T chainring. The cassette is a SRAM XX1 XG1299 with a 10–52-tooth range.

The handlebars are Syncros Hixon iC Carbon, 780 mm wide with a 15 mm rise for sizes S and M. They have an 8-degree backsweep and are complemented by a Syncros - Acros Angle Adjust & Cable Routing headset, which allows the steering angle to be adjusted by ±0.6 degrees.

The wheelset consists of Syncros Revelstoke 1.0S-30 CL carbon rims, which are tubeless-ready and fitted with Maxxis Dissector tyres. These offer excellent grip and control on a variety of surfaces.

The saddle is a Syncros Tofino SL Regular 1.0 with carbon rails, and the seatpost is a Syncros Duncan Dropper Post 1.5 with a travel of 160 mm for size M. Syncros mudguards on the fork provide additional protection against dirt and moisture.
