The Aspect 970’s frame is made from 6061 alloy custom tubing and is part of the Aspect 900–700 series. It features a BSA73 bottom bracket, internal cable routing and a replaceable derailleur hanger. The maximum rider weight is 128 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 15 kg. This model is suitable for riders between 180 cm and 190 cm in height.

Braking performance is provided by Tektro SCM-02 mechanical disc brakes at both the front and rear, each with 160 mm brake discs. The derailleur is a Shimano Tourney RD-TY300 with 21 speeds, controlled via Shimano ST-EF-41-L/7R shift levers with EZ-Fire Plus and gear indicator. The front derailleur is a MicroShift FD-M20 with a diameter of 31.8 mm.

The Suntour XCE28 fork offers 100 mm of travel, ensuring a comfortable ride over uneven terrain. The Feimin FP.B902 bottom bracket is a BB73 with a square taper. The saddle is a Syncros 3.0, mounted on an HL SP C207 seatpost with a diameter of 31.6 mm and a length of 350 mm. The frame geometry comprises a seat tube length of 480 mm, a top tube length of 615 mm, a head tube angle of 69 degrees, a seat tube angle of 74 degrees, a head tube length of 120 mm, a chainstay length of 450 mm and a bottom bracket drop of 60 mm.
