Scott Aspect 960 black

The "Aspect 960 black" model from Scott, released in 2024, is a mountain bike that stands out for its robust construction and reliable components. The frame is from the Aspect 900-700 series and is made from a 6061 aluminium alloy with custom tubing. It features a BSA73 bottom bracket, internal cable routing and a replaceable derailleur hanger. The maximum load capacity is 128 kg, and the bike itself weighs 14 kg.

The Tektro HDM275 hydraulic disc brakes, with 160 mm rotors at both the front and rear, ensure reliable braking performance. The derailleur is a Shimano Tourney RD-TX800 with 16 speeds, controlled via Shimano SL-M315 shift levers with 2-way release and gear indicator. The handlebars are HL MTB-AL-312BT, 720 mm wide with a 12 mm rise. The grips are Syncros Pro Grips. The stem, a TDS-C301-8FOV, is 70 mm long and has a 10-degree angle. The headset is a Syncros OE Press Fit with an outer diameter of 50 mm and an inner diameter of 44 mm.

The rims are Syncros X-20 Disc with 32 spoke holes, and the tyres are Kenda Booster, 2.4 inches wide with a TPI of 30. The front hub is a Formula DC-19 FQR Disc and the rear hub is a Formula DC-25 8s RQR Disc, both fitted with black stainless steel spokes.

The saddle is a Syncros 3.0, mounted on an HL SP C207 seatpost with a diameter of 31.6 mm and a length of 350 mm. The mountain bike is suitable for riders between 170 cm and 180 cm tall and offers a balanced geometry with a head tube angle of 69 degrees and a seat tube angle of 74 degrees.
