Scott Aspect 950 EQ

The 2024 Scott Aspect 950 EQ is a versatile mountain bike available for 879 EUR. It features a robust frame from the Aspect 900-700 series, made from 6061 alloy custom tubing, and offers internal cable routing as well as a replaceable derailleur hanger. The maximum load capacity is 128 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs in at 14 kg.

Suitable for riders between 170 cm and 180 cm tall, the Aspect 950 EQ is fitted with Tektro hydraulic disc brakes (HDM275), which use 160mm rotors at both the front and rear. The drivetrain consists of a Shimano Altus RD-M2000 with 18 speeds, controlled via Shimano SL-M2010 shift levers with 2-way release and gear indicator. The front derailleur is a Shimano FD-M2020-TS with a diameter of 31.8 mm.

The Suntour XCT30-HLO fork offers 100 mm of travel and features a hydraulic lockout function. The rims are Syncros X-20 Disc models with 32 stainless steel spokes, and the tyres are Kenda Booster, 2.4" wide with a TPI of 30. The hubs are Formula DC-19 FQR Disc at the front and Formula DC-25 8s RQR Disc at the rear.

The saddle is a Syncros 3.0, mounted on a Syncros 3.0 seatpost with a diameter of 31.6 mm and a length of 350 mm. For added comfort and protection, Syncros mudguards are fitted, and a Syncros 2 Bolts Direct Mount kickstand ensures stability.

The bike’s geometry comprises a reach of 419 mm, a stack of 612 mm, a seat tube length of 440 mm and a top tube length of 600 mm. The head tube angle is 69 degrees, the seat tube angle is 74 degrees, and the head tube length is 110 mm. The chainstay length is 450 mm, the bottom bracket drop is 60 mm, the fork offset is 51 mm and the standover height is 783 mm. The fork installation height is 501 mm, the wheelbase measures 1102 mm in total and the bottom bracket height is 316 mm.
