Scott Aspect 940 Cu orange

The "Aspect 940 Cu orange" model from Scott, released in 2024, is a versatile mountain bike characterised by its robust construction and high-quality components. The frame is made from a special 6061 alloy custom butted tubing series (Aspect 900-700), which is renowned for its durability and stability. The frame features a BSA73 bottom bracket, internal cable routing and a replaceable derailleur hanger.

The bike is designed for riders between 170 cm and 180 cm tall and offers a comfortable and controlled ride. The Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes at the front and rear ensure reliable braking performance, supported by Shimano SM-RT10 CL rotors with a diameter of 160 mm.

The gear system consists of a Shimano CUES RD-U4000-GS Shadow Type 9-speed rear derailleur, controlled via the Shimano CUES SL-U4000-9 shift lever with 2-way release. This enables precise and smooth gear changes. The Suntour XCR32/X1-LO-R fork, featuring a hydraulic lockout and 100 mm of travel, offers excellent shock absorption.

The handlebars, a Syncros 3.0 with a width of 720 mm, a rise of 12 mm and a backsweep of 9 degrees, together with the Syncros 3.0 stem (70 mm long, 7-degree angle) and the Syncros Pro grips, for ergonomic and safe handling. The headset is a Syncros OE Press Fit, suitable for a 1 1/8-inch diameter.

The Syncros X-20 Disc rims, featuring 32 black stainless steel spokes, are robust and durable. The Kenda Booster tyres (2.4" / 30 TPI) offer good grip and stability on a variety of surfaces. The hubs are a Shimano HB TX505 at the front and a Shimano FH-TX5058 at the rear.

The saddle is a Syncros 3.0, mounted on a Syncros 3.0 seatpost with a diameter of 31.6 mm and a length of 350 mm. The bike’s total weight is approximately 20 kg.
