Scott Addict RC 40

The "Addict RC 40" model from Scott, released in 2024, is a high-quality road bike that stands out for its advanced technology and precision craftsmanship. The frame is made from Addict RC Disc HMX material and features road race geometry as well as a replaceable derailleur hanger. Furthermore, the internal cable routing is another feature that contributes to the bike’s aerodynamic efficiency. The maximum rider weight is 120 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs just 7 kg, making it one of the lighter models in its class.

This road bike is suitable for riders between 160 cm and 170 cm in height. The front and rear brakes are fitted with Shimano BR-R7170 hydraulic disc brakes, each combined with a 160 mm diameter Shimano SM-RT70 CL brake disc. The Shimano 105 Di2 RD-R7150 system provides the gear shifting, offering an electronic 24-speed gear system. The shift levers are also from Shimano, model 105 Di2 ST-R7170.

The bike’s cockpit comprises a Syncros Creston 2.0 Compact aluminium handlebar and a Syncros RR 1.5 stem with a length of 90 mm. The headset is an integrated Syncros Addict RC system. The wheelset consists of Syncros RP2.0 Disc wheels, each with 28 spokes at the front and rear, fitted with quick-release axles and tools.

The tyres are Schwalbe ONE Race-Guard Fold in size 700x28C, both front and rear. The saddle is a Syncros Belcarra Regular 2.0, and the seatpost is a Syncros Duncan 1.0 Aero.

The fork installation height is 379 mm and the wheelbase measures 994 mm, with a bottom bracket height of 275 mm.
