Scott Addict eRIDE 20

The 2021 Scott Addict eRIDE 20 is a high-quality e-bike designed for ambitious riders who value both performance and comfort. Priced at 4,499 EUR, this model offers an impressive combination of advanced technology and top-class components.

The Addict eRIDE 20’s frame is made from Addict eRIDE Disc HMX material and features an Endurance geometry optimised for long rides. The frame features fully internal cable routing and a replaceable derailleur hanger, which enhances both its aesthetics and ease of maintenance. The bike’s total weight is 12 kg, which is remarkably light for an e-bike and thus enables excellent handling and agility.

The brakes consist of Shimano BR-R7070 hydraulic disc brakes, which, in combination with the Shimano SM-RT800 CL 160 mm front brake discs and the Shimano SM-RT76 6B 160 mm rear brake discs, ensure reliable and powerful braking performance. The gear system is provided by the Shimano Ultegra RD-R8000-GS with 22 speeds, whilst the shift levers are Shimano 105 ST-R7020 carbon models and offer a dual-control function for precise gear changes. The front derailleur is also a Shimano 105 FD-R7000.

The Addict eRIDE 20 is fitted with an Addict eRIDE HMX Flatmount Disc fork, which features a 1 1/4"–1 1/2" eccentric carbon steerer tube. The bottom bracket is a Shimano SM-RS500-PB, and the crankset is a Shimano 105 FC-R7000 with Hollowtech II technology and a gear ratio of 50x34 teeth. The cassette is a Shimano CS-R7000 with an 11–32 tooth range.

Power is transmitted via a Shimano 105 CN-HG601-11 chain. The handlebars – aluminium Syncros Creston 2.0 Compact – and the stem – a 1 1/4" Syncros RR iC – provide stable and comfortable steering. The headset is the Syncros Addict RC Integrated. The tyres are Schwalbe ONE Race-Guard Fold in size 700x30C, fitted to a Syncros Capital 2.0 25e Disc wheelset with 24 spokes at the front and 32 spokes at the rear.

The saddle is a Syncros Belcarra Regular 2.0, fitted to a Syncros Duncan 1.0 Aero seatpost. The e-bike is powered by a Mahle Motor Hub Drive with a maximum torque of 40 Nm and assistance up to 25 km/h in the EU or 20 mph in the USA. The battery has a capacity of 208 Wh (36V) and the system is controlled via the Mahle iWoc display, which is Bluetooth-enabled and supports a dedicated smartphone app.
