Scott Addict 30 yellow

The "Addict 30 yellow" model from Scott, released in 2024, is a high-quality road bike that stands out for its technical features and well-thought-out design. Priced at 2599 EUR, it offers excellent value for money for ambitious cyclists.

The Addict 30’s frame is made from Addict Disc HMF carbon and features an endurance geometry. The frame offers high stiffness whilst maintaining comfort, making it ideal for long rides. The frame also features a replaceable derailleur hanger, internal cable routing and is compatible with the Syncros mudguard kit. The maximum rider weight is 120 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs just 8 kg, making it one of the lighter models in its class.

The Addict 30’s spec is designed for high performance and reliability. It is fitted with Shimano hydraulic disc brakes (BR-R7070) at the front and rear, combined with Shimano SM-RT70 CL rotors (160 mm), ensuring excellent braking performance. The drivetrain consists of a Shimano 105 RD-R7000-GS with 22 speeds, controlled by Shimano 105 ST-R7020 Disc shift levers with Dual Control functionality. The front derailleur is also a Shimano 105 FD-R7000 in black.

The bike’s fork is an Addict HMF Disc with an eccentric carbon steerer tube, which provides additional stability. The bottom bracket is a PRAXIS 86-0301 M24 BB86, and the PRAXIS ALBA M24 crankset features a 50/34T gear ratio in black. The cassette is a Shimano CS-R7000 with an 11–32 tooth range, and the drivetrain is powered by a KMC X11 chain.

The handlebars are aluminium Syncros Creston 2.0 Compact with a diameter of 31.8 mm, whilst the stem is a Syncros RR2.0 with a length of 73 mm. The headset is an Acros AIF-1134. The wheelset consists of Syncros RP2.0 Disc wheels with 28 spokes at the front and rear, as well as Syncros hubs with a removable lever and integrated tool. The tyres are Schwalbe ONE Fold in size 700x32C, fitted to both the front and rear.

The saddle is a Syncros Tofino Regular 2.0 Channel, and the seatpost is a Syncros RR1.2 measuring 27.2/350 mm. The bike is supplied in a box measuring 27 mm wide, 86 mm high and 158 mm long, and has a gross weight of 20300 g.

The frame geometry comprises a reach of 376 mm, a stack of 518 mm, a seat tube length of 455 mm and a top tube length of 515 mm. The head tube angle is 71 degrees, the seat tube angle is 75 degrees, and the head tube length is 95 mm. The chainstay length is 420 mm, the bottom bracket drop is 70 mm, the fork offset is 45 mm, the standover height is 732 mm, the fork installation height is 395 mm and the wheelbase is 997 mm. The bottom bracket height is 275 mm.
