Lapierre Zesty TR 4.9

The 2022 Lapierre Zesty TR 4.9 is a versatile mountain bike which, at a price of 2,699 EUR, represents an attractive option in the mid-range price segment. The bike’s frame is made from Zesty TR Supreme 5 Alloy and offers 120 mm of suspension travel, ensuring a comfortable ride across a variety of terrains. The frame design is optimised for 29-inch wheels and incorporates modern standards such as PressFit, Boost and thru-axle for increased stiffness and stability.

The braking system consists of Shimano M4100 brakes with four pistons at the front and two pistons at the rear, ensuring reliable stopping power. The drivetrain is based on the SRAM GX Lunar Eagle 12-speed system, which, in combination with the SRAM SX Eagle shifter, enables precise and responsive gear changes. The RockShox 35 Gold RL fork offers 130 mm of travel and is fitted with a remote lockout, whilst the Lapierre AF2 Air shock, featuring Trunnion Metric Rebound & Lockout, ensures fine-tuned suspension adjustment.

The bike is fitted with FPD NW-91K pedals, which ensure a secure connection to the bike. The drivetrain is complemented by a SRAM NX Eagle crankset with Boost 148 axle and a 32-tooth chainring. The SRAM PG1210 cassette offers a range of 11–50T, providing a wide variety of gear ratios for different terrain profiles.

The Lapierre Alloy 6061DB handlebars are 760 mm wide and have a 15 mm rise for a comfortable riding position. The stem is available in various lengths depending on frame size to ensure an optimal fit. The FSA Orbit Zero Stack headset ensures precise steering.

The Rodi Ryot rims are tubeless-ready and have a width of 25 mm, which, combined with the Maxxis tyres – Ardent at the front and Forekaster at the rear – ensures excellent traction. The hubs are from Lapierre by Fastace, fitted with Boost 15x110 at the front and Boost 12x148 at the rear, and feature four sealed bearings for smooth running.

The Selle Royal Vivo saddle ensures comfort on long rides, whilst the Lapierre dropper seatpost offers varying travel depending on frame size, allowing you to optimally adjust your riding position.
