Lapierre Zesty TR 3.7

The 2022 Lapierre Zesty TR 3.7 is a versatile mountain bike model, available for €2,099. The bike’s frame is made from Zesty TR Supreme 5 alloy and offers 120 mm of suspension travel. It is designed for 27-inch wheels and features modern standards such as PressFit, Boost, metric dimensions and a thru-axle, ensuring stable and efficient power transfer.

The Zesty TR 3.7’s braking system is fitted with Shimano MT401, ensuring reliable braking performance in a variety of conditions. The drivetrain is complemented by a Shimano Deore RD-M5100 with 11 speeds, which, together with the new Shimano Deore M5100 shifter, offers precise and smooth gear changes. The RST FIRST AIR TRL fork with 120 mm of travel and the Lapierre AF2 Air Trunnion suspension, featuring rebound and lockout functions, ensure excellent control and comfort on uneven terrain.

The drivetrain components include a Shimano Deore FC-M5100 crankset with 32 teeth and a KMC X11 chain in black/silver, which, together with the Shimano Deore CS-M5100 cassette (11-51T) to offer a wide gear range. The bottom bracket is a Shimano BBMT800 Press Fit, which contributes to the drivetrain’s stability and efficiency.

The handlebars are made from Lapierre Alloy 6061DB, with a width of 760 mm and a rise of 15 mm, whilst the Lapierre DD34 lock-on grips ensure a secure grip. The stem is also made from Lapierre Alloy, with a 0° angle and a length of 35 mm for sizes XS/S. The headset is an FSA Orbit Zero Stack.

The wheels feature Rodi Ryot 27.5-inch rims, which are tubeless-ready and 25 mm wide. The tyres are by Maxxis: an Ardent 27x2.40 EXO TR at the front and a Forekaster 27x2.35 EXO TR at the rear, which provide excellent grip and control. The hubs are Shimano MT400 models, which are Boost-standard on both the front and rear and feature Centre Lock mounts.

The saddle is a Selle Royal Vivo Women model, designed for comfort. This is complemented by a Lapierre Dropper seatpost from JD with 80 mm of travel for sizes XS/S, allowing for quick adjustment of the seat height. The pedals are FPD NW-91K with a steel cage, ensuring a secure grip. Overall, the Lapierre Zesty TR 3.7 offers a well-balanced spec that is suitable for both beginners and advanced riders, and provides versatile off-road capabilities.
